While I was on my trip in Korea, my 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens decided to break on me, so I was left without a lens to take photographs with. I tried to chug along for a few days, taking photographs with phone I had rented and even bought a 50mm f/1.8 (Which is a terrible lens, by the way, get a 50mm f/1.4). I eventually picked up a new 17-55mm f/2.8 while I was in Korea, but was pretty bummed out about having to fish out another $1000. I've still been around shooting events and things, but I decided to take a hiatus on my 365 for a while. I'll hopefully be picking up my camera every day again in the next few days. You can follow me on Twitter for the latest updates, or to just convince me to start sooner!

After a long day of exploring Seoul, it's nice to just hang out with friends at the bar and play some card games.

There's an area at the N. Seoul tower in Seoul where a fence is filled with locks with messages written on them.

One of the many epic views on the mountain path to Shangri-La. On the way up I was really upset that I didn't get a chance to get this shot. But luckily the bus took a pit stop here and allowed me to get this great panorama.

In the empty back part of Tianlongbabu (天龙八部) TV & Film City, there was another town area that had a lovely view of Dali, Yunnan, China. Click more for a view of what was behind me.
